Family Symphony. Gran Teatre del Liceu

Art has the power to transform us. Perhaps this is its truest legacy: beyond the works themselves, beyond time and memory, what endures is the imprint it leaves within us. What remains of art? We do—slightly changed, with a renewed way of seeing the world.

This project stems from that transformative idea. I created a series of illustrations and short animations to accompany the Polovtsian Dances from the opera Prince Igor by Aleksandr Borodin, presented as part of the Symphonic for Familiesprogramme at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The work is divided into four movements, each unfolding its own visual universe. Inspired by nature and its evocative power, the illustrations enter into dialogue with the music, creating a poetic narrative in which image and sound enrich one another, inviting the audience into a space where imagination comes to life.
