“Platonic Friends and Other Species” was my first exhibition, and it is a tribute to all those moments shared with those friends who make life what it is.

A glass of wine and an endless chat with a soul friend. A stroll around the neighborhood with your little dog. Two friends dancing all night long. A teapot and two cups sharing secrets… these are some of the scenes depicted on the plates and other ceramics. The exhibition embraces the concept of “platonic” because of the medium, but also because these are fleeting moments that are never the same. They remain in our memory and, although we may live similar stories again, they will always be unique.

To mark the exhibition, I also held a workshop called “Platonic Afternoon”, where attendees could paint their own plate or cup in red and blue.
